Picnic pics

Hello lovely blog readers (or blog reader, more like). As per Livi's comment, I shall try and be more regular with my posts, so here I am! By the way Livi (or Livvie, whatever) please can I see your blog? Pleeeaaase? I'd like to read it, afetr all, you read mine. Anyways...

1. I have bought the first season of Scrubs on DVD! Woohoo! I am planning to buy the second and third seasons now, but I don't think the fourth is out on DVD yet. Hmm...

2. Haven't seen any new movies since my last post, soooooo I'll move on to.... The O.C.! Seth is STUPID for saying he didn't love Summer, Marissa is SENSIBLE for coming back home and Ryan is... well, he's just Ryan really but I'm glad he made up with his mum. It was a bit of a surprise that he got off with that Chloe girl after knowing her for like five minutes, but whatever. He should be mourning for Sadie (that makes it sound like she died, she didn't, she just left). Well, after that little ramble I will move on to...

3. The barbecue I had today with mes amies Livi and Clairee. C'etait tres amusant. Here is a pic:

And here's another, of Clairee sunbathing:

Well, as they say after Bugs Bunny cartoons, that's all folks!

Books, TV and movie news

I really need to be more regular with my posts. I've been busy with exams and stuff. But now it's half term! Yay! Anyways, here's my news:

1. Just finished watching Life As A House, starring Hayden Christensen (you're right Livi, he is pretty hot), Keven Kline, Kristin Scott Thomas, Jena Malone, etc. It was really good actually. Interesting movie. (It must seem like all I ever do is watch movies. Actually, that's not too far from the truth.)

2. I have also recently seen The Cider House Rules (that's SUCH a good film!) and.... I can't actually think of anything else.

3. Wow, do I really have nothing else to say? That is boring. Oh, I know! I have read Boy Meet Girl by Meg Cabot, which I really liked. It's all in the form of phone conversations, emails, instant messaging, diary entries, etc. which makes it interesting to read. Funny, too.

4. Now I am reading The Catcher In The Rye. I'm about a quarter of the way through it and it's not bad.

5. Only like 5 more episodes of The OC this season! Wow, it's gone really quickly. Unfortunately I know what happens in the season finale. I'm kind of shocked but also not, if you know what I mean. Anyway, I hope they do it well, that's all I'm going to say.

6. I came across this - http://forums.televisionwithoutpity.com/index.php?s=4ed0aab6284a181b8460f843220b49be&showtopic=3028239 - the other day. It's a really long thread, and I haven't read all of it, but it's so funny. It's 'You Know You're Obsessed With The OC When...'. Some of the things are, shall we say, quite familiar to me, others are not, and it makes me realise I'm not as obsessed as some people! Anyway, I found it really funny.

Toodle pip!
Talliepie! (specially for Livi)

Mini Mischa!

God, I haven't posted for SO long! Sorry about that!

1. I have been to New York! It was really cool, but I won't bore you with the details.

2. I just found this - http://rapidshare.de/files/15158531/mischa.wmv.html/. It is Mischa Barton, aged six, doing a monologue on turtles at a summer camp. An agent was in the audience and that's how she was discovered. Anyway, it's SO cute! She has kind of a weird accent, half English and half American. I think she had just moved over from England.
(N.B. When you go to that link, scroll down and click on the free membership thing rather than the premium, then wait for the countdown thing to finish, and you can download it without paying anything.)

3. I'm currently reading 'Notes From A Small Island' by Bill Bryson. I don't think it's quite as good as the others he's written, but I'm not very far in so I'll have to see. I've also checked out 'The Catcher In The Rye' (I thought it was about time I read it) and 'Boy Meets Girl' (by Meg Cabot, one of her books for adults) from my school library, but have yet to read them.

4. Just saw 'The Wonder of Sex'/'Skipped Parts' (English and American titles) on DVD. Also had a young Mischa Barton in. It was OK, not nearly as rude or porno-ish as the title sounds! Not fantastic, but not bad. Later on I'm going to watch 'Cheaters', which has arrived, but I don't know much abotu it. I think it has Jena Malone in.

That's all for now.

Love,
Tallie xxx
